Having fun {Katy, Texas Senior Photographer}

I’ve heard time and again that when you’re a paid photographer sometimes you just need to take a break from deadlines, client expectations, nervous jitters, and just shoot for yourself.  It’s so true that it’s important to remember why you got into photography in the first place and shoot because you love it and for no other reason.  So last month – yep, while I was still on crutches – this is what I did.  I grabbed my friend Alden and off we went exploring new locations around Katy.  Alden is seriously the cutest girl ever!  And she has more style than almost anyone I know and can practically run a marathon in her sleep.  I wish!!!  Thank you Sweetheart!  You are gorgeous inside and out!!

Muffin…You really knocked it out of the park with the railroad track shots. Not that I am into railroads that much, but it is so clean and sharp and the rail is a rigid, steely contrast to the softness of your subject. Lighting is extraordinary. I am beginning to expect nothing less from my daughter. Excellent. Or as the arabs would say, “Mumtaz!!”. Love, Dad
