Sparkles and Jeters {Katy, Texas Pet Photographer}

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Sparkles and Jeters . . . and their mom and dad too!  When I received a call last week to do a pet shoot, I jumped at the chance.  I love dogs and have always wanted to do a photo session involving dogs.  I think I’ve shot everything from teeny tiny babies to my daughter’s goldfish.  We met up in a local park in Katy, Texas. We let the dogs run around and play, and explore a bit, and I shot some pictures along the way.  The dogs were so cute!!!!  Don’t dogs have a way of just making you happy when you are around them?  They are so easy to please and oh so sweet in every way.

When I got home, my three year daughter, who simply  adores dogs to no end, insisted on knowing where I had been.  I couldn’t help but tell her that I was out taking pictures of two “puppies” (which is her word for dogs).  She was quite jealous and wanted to know their names and everything about them. So Hayley sat on my lap for the next hour and we went through pictures of Sparkles and Jeters and I told stories along the way. It was very cute. Thank you Sparkles and Jeters.  I hope you both and your mommy and daddy enjoy your sneak peek.

Linsey, these are so realistic. You can feel the love those puppies have for their family. I wish Jasper was still with us so you could capture her sweetest expressions.

This was a great shoot. We had a blast doing it and the pictures are better than we could have imagined.

Linsey…
When you are next out West I want you to shoot my two critters…Indy and Sassy. The pictures you have posted are some of your best work. I can only imagine how tough it is to work with TWO dogs at the same time…each with their own distractions. Add to the mix the posing of the couple and you have some real challenges and opportunities. But you have done real well. I especially like the clean simplicity, but interesting, last shot. Also, the first shot is very well done. Actually, each one is unique and offers up emotion. Love the sky. Clouds are in. Your pictures leave me wanting more.

Linsey I love the pictures, especially the last family photo! These will be great memories for all of our family to cherish!
Thank you!
