Dewberry Farm {Houston, TX Family Photographer}

Fall has become my new favorite time of year.  The summer heat is over, we’ve usually just gotten back from our big family vacation, the kids are back in school, and there’s SO many fun holidays to look forward too.  Along with the holidays comes all the decorating, crafting, festivals, outings, baking, shopping, music, and traditions.  I LOVE it all!!!  One of our favorite Fall traditions is going to Dewberry Farm.  We go every year, usually multiple times. The kids LOVE it!!!  We love it!

Last Saturday broke out our sweaters for the first time (all but Hayley, who insisted on wearing her new pumpkin shirt. “Mommy I’m not cold.  I’m not cold Mommy,” she said when it was 62 degrees outside.  Kids are funny that way). And we grabbed our sunglasses.  At noon when we went, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.  The clear, blue sapphire sky was gorgeous!

The kids chased each other through Fort DewHickey, slid down the Giant Roller Slide (101+ times), rode the little Corn Train, chased each other threw the cornfields, listened to the chickens sing at the Cackle Palace, fed the goats, mooed at the cows, had rubber ducky races, explored Little Farmersville, and bounced over and over on the Kidilla Hoppers.  We also stopped for snow cones and their famous kettle corn. Really, is there anything more addicting than fresh kettle corn?!?!  Thankfully, we have another trip planned this week.  Yep, Dewberry Farm is definitely one of our favorite Fall traditions.
